When you rent a canoe from Silkeborg Kanocenter, you decide where you want to start and finish. We have 30 different starting points all along Gudenåen.

If you only want to go for a few hours, you can choose an hourly sailing trip, where you will always have to start and end at Silkeborg Harbor.

The package solutions, which are both one-day and multi-day tours, can be planned so that you decide where to start. If you want to start in Tørring, Ry, Silkeborg, Svostrup or Kongensbro, that's no problem. You can see all starting locations on the website. It is also possible to finish at these locations if you don't want to finish at the Port of Silkeborg. The most important thing for us is that you get a tour that meets your wishes and needs.

Unless otherwise planned, the Canoe will be ready for pickup at the starting point you have booked. The canoe will be upside down, and on the canoe will be a rental slip with your details so you can be sure that the canoe is yours. There will be life jackets, paddles and any other extra equipment if ordered under the canoe. After that, all you have to do is put the canoe in the water and get out on the water.

Prices for renting a canoe in Silkeborg

Our prices are for everyone. It doesn't have to be expensive to have great experiences and memories for life.

Hourly sailing with start and end at the Port of Silkeborg costs DKK 150 per hour. The minimum rental period is 1 hour, after which you will be charged for every 15 minutes. After 3 hours and 15 minutes, the price will be 500 DKK, regardless of whether you rent the canoe for 4, 5 or 6 hours. However, you must return the canoe the same day.

If you fancy a longer trip where you're on the water for 2 days or more, prices vary accordingly. Prices for 2 days start from DKK 700 depending on the season, whereas canoe rental for 5 days starts from DKK 1,300. These prices are for trips starting and ending at the Port of Silkeborg.
