The Family Package - 3 day Canoeing holiday with everything ready for you

Experience Gudenåen the easy way with our popular Family Package - a 3-day canoe trip where all the practicalities are taken care of in advance. Formerly known as the "Family Tour", this package is for those who want a simple and comfortable canoeing holiday with time for socializing and nature experiences.

Easy, convenient and ready on arrival

You'll spend the night in large pitched tents at two carefully selected locations:

• Gudenå Camping

• Voervadsbro Teltplads

The tents contain 4 cots. If you are 5 people, you need to bring your own sleeping equipment for the fifth person, such as a sleeping mat. It is also recommended to bring sleeping mats for the camp beds for better comfort. It is mandatory to bring sheets for the camp beds.

A fun start to the trip

The trip usually starts in Tørring, where the narrow course of the Gudenå makes it easy and safe to get started - even for first-time sailors. The canoes can be picked up from Tørring Kanoudlejning from 9:00 am and must be returned to the final destination by 4:00 pm on the final day.

If you want a shorter first sailing day, the canoes can be delivered instead:

• Åstedbro Teltplads

This allows for a more relaxed start - ideal whether you're a family, a group of friends or a couple looking for an experience in nature.

Practical information

• 3 days Canoeing holiday with everything ready in advance

• A Family tent contains four cots, but up to five people are allowed to book, but the fifth person must provide their own alternative sleeping space (sleeping mat)

• You must bring your own sheets (mandatory) and preferably a sleeping mat for better comfort

• Canoes are picked up from 9:00 am and returned no later than 16:00 pm

• Dogs and other pets are not allowed

• Tents are practical and spacious - not glamping
