When can we sail?
Sailing with Whaly Motorboat follows our normal opening hours, from May 1 to September 30.
You can book here via our booking system. When you book a Whaly Motorboat, we need to know how many people you are going, how many boats you need, how many *hours you will be sailing and when you want to leave.
How far can we go?
You can go a long way in a short time, and we’ve given a few suggestions for where you can go and how long it will take you to get back to Silkeborg Harbor:
- De Små Fisk Teltplads1 hour
- Slåensø: 1.5 hours
- Ålekroen/Traktørstedet Ludvigslyst: 2 hours
- Himmelbjerget: 3 hours
- Ry: 4 hours
When you leave, you’ll be provided with the necessary equipment, and we always make sure we have life jackets of all sizes ready for you before departure.
Before you set off, you will, as always, have been thoroughly advised and guided by our skilled staff, so you are confident to sail out and enjoy the magnificent nature.
(We make reservations for situations where we may have to cancel the sailing – in such a case, we will of course contact you. It could, for example, be an engine problem that needs to be solved suddenly…).
We have 2 Whaly motorboats. We rent them out on an hourly basis as well as full day sailing – *1 hour equals 55 minutes and 2 hours equals 1 hour and 55 minutes etc. There is room for up to 8 people. The price depends on the number of hours/persons… It is very important that the start time is respected (please arrive 10 minutes before departure) otherwise you will miss some sailing, as it is important to be back at the agreed time!
