Great place to rent a canoe! You enter the small lakes via a charming little canal! The staff at the rental shop clearly explain the rental durations and places to see, including picnic spots! I highly recommend it!
Vi lejede 2 kanoer en dag og havde den bedste tur. Vi var ude ved De små fisk og brillerne.
Jeg oplever Silkeborg Kanocenter som super imødekommende, nærværende og frem for alt fleksible (ifm ombookning pga vejr). God service og vi kommer helt sikkert igen 😊
Vi har lejet gennem dem i flere år og altid super hjælpsomme og fleksible⭐️
A very beautiful body of water for canoeing!
The staff were very friendly and were able to offer good tour suggestions for a 4-hour trip (in English).
We had two canoes with two adults, three children, and a dog.
Unfortunately, one of them took on a bit of water...
There are plenty of moorings, and the picnic we brought along was a good idea, as there are no restaurants at the moorings!

The prices are on the expensive side, especially considering it takes at least 2 hours just to get out of the canal and explore a bit of the open water areas.

Naturens kræfter er altid uforudsigelige, men det er jo netop det skønne ved en kanotur. Hele holdet bag Silkeborg Kanocenter var med til at gøre vores 5 dage med tre generationer og hund på Gudenåen helt fantastisk. Tak for jeres gode råd og hjælp undervejs. 🙏

Ud over at vi havde en skøn tur, så oplevede vi et personale, som var meget fleksible med, hvor vi kunne aflevere kanoerne, alt efter hvor langt vi ønskede at sejle. Selvfølgelig skal de så vide det i god tid på sejlturen.
5 stars for you. What a service for a couple of tourists. We came when you were about to close, and yet we were allowed to rent one of your motorboats for an hour. So we ended your season with a nice trip out to Brassø. I took a lot of pictures, and my boyfriend enjoyed sailing a bit again. Thank you for your kindness, we really appreciated that.
